The Performance Racing Industry Trade Show has been cancelled for this year, according to a PRI announcement Monday, Sept. 14. The event was scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 10-12 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.
The announcement stated, “Despite health and safety guidelines that would have been in place, mounting uncertainty related to the coronavirus resulted in an environment that would not be conducive to a productive trade show.”
In the months before the cancellation PRI worked with the Visit Indy organization, the convention center staff, and other Indianapolis officials on a plan for a safe show.
“It is with great disappointment that we announce that the show will not take place,” said PRI president Jamie Meyer. “Our goal is to always do what is best for the motorsports industry."
Exhibitors that paid deposits for booths will receive full refunds, according to PRI.
